Manufacturing Growth Program starting soon

20 Jan 2020 | News & Updates

We are excited to announce a new program starting soon at Beenleigh – the Manufacturing Business Growth Program. Businesses from Redlands, Logan, Brisbane and Gold Coast regions are invited to participate in this free program that will deliver –

  • Face-to-Face Workshops
  • Mentoring
  • Industry Expo

Manufacturing is one of the core pillars of the Queensland and Australia economy. Supporting these businesses through technological and economic changes is imperative. Our goal is to provide an opportunity to develop the skills and business knowledge further as well as to provide a platform for businesses to connect with others.

This program will see us bringing new team members along.

  • Michael Morrow from 2Morrow Consulting is an experienced lean manufacturing consultant. Michael will deliver two workshops in this program including a hands-on exercise which illustrates the be opportunities in refining the manufacturing process, and different ways to organise a factory floor.
  • Kathy MacDonald is an experienced human resource consultant with real-world experience as a food manufacturer. Kathy will be on-hand to co-deliver workshops, provide experience and provide mentoring.
  • Frank Green is an experienced business consultant with decades of experience across industries. A registered Queensland Government Mentoring-For- Growth advisor, Frank will assist in mentoring.

Registrations are now open – visit the Registration page at the TAFE Queensland website: https://go.tafeqld.edu.au/business-growth-program.html.
